When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zanin Angić made a kick off. James Oropeza charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed James Oropeza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 51 played minutes Pumas FC got a freekick which was hit by James Oropeza. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Illan Terminel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pumas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Illan Terminel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mendiko Fito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. James Oropeza got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 66th minute, James Oropeza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Hernainz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mendiko Fito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th match minute, Melwood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxepare Verdenosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Melwood's goalkeeper Mendiko Fito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mendiko Fito was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Illan Terminel. Mariano Hernainz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mendiko Fito having to make a save. The supporters of Pumas FC booed when Melwood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etxepare Verdenosa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
