Ramiro Alarid was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 12 in the game by Cheche Arzallos from a close distance when the talented Ramiro Alarid managed to make a qualified save. Paloma FC's players were relieved. Tohias Correduria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Helder Ruano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Rodolfo Candia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montay Baptista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ernesto Tuñon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Royal Guard got a freekick which was hit by Dino Graniela. Ernesto Tuñon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helder Ruano, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Tadzio Camango hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Montay Baptista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Graniela kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Laurgain Nabarro charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurgain Nabarro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Paloma FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Laurgain Nabarro hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Paloma FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Alarid had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cheche Arzallos. Ernesto Tuñon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Montay Baptista went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the game, Paloma FC's Montay Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ernesto Tuñon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The supporters of Royal Guard booed when Paloma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurgain Nabarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Tohias Correduria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Guard's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tohias Correduria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The wind increased when Helder Ruano made the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Alarid stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cheche Arzallos's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. When Calixto Traves fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Royal Guard's protests and gave Calixto Traves a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Paloma FC booed when Royal Guard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calixto Traves didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Helder Ruano came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Paloma FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helder Ruano couldn't finish the play. Lartaun Bango hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Paloma FC's Montay Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Cheche Arzallos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Helder Ruano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paloma FC's Montay Baptista got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Helder Ruano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ernesto Tuñon. Royal Guard's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helder Ruano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Paloma FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
