When Epifanio Cortes came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the FC Cartagena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Epifanio Cortes couldn't finish the play. Epifanio Cortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hori Bezanilla having to interfere. The supporters of FC Cartagena booed when Piacun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quirce Ladrada didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Orejo charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Orejo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute Arsenio Gayoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hori Bezanilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arsenio Gayoso made a kick off. Epifanio Cortes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piacun FC's Hori Bezanilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Cortes in the 67th minute of play. Epifanio Cortes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hori Bezanilla having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Piacun FC's Azubeli Salmeron got a free kick in the 81st minute. Guilherme Hoz's late challenge caught a Piacun FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilherme Hoz helped the player get up and apologised. Guilherme Hoz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Llorenc Villamarin made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Alberto Iglesias sent off a good shot on target. Mercurio Basterra struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Llorenc Villamarin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piacun FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Mercurio Basterra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Llorenc Villamarin. That made the score 0-2 in the 95 minute of play. The Piacun FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
