Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) swat's Ostots Hostos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of swat booed when Montemar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Asensio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Benjamin Asensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute Montemar FC were awarded a corner. Piarres Gutarrate went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, swat's Ignado Guanes got a free kick in the 10th minute. When swat's Ostots Hostos in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Montemar FC's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the game, Sal Docio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. swat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montemar FC the free kick. Benjamin Asensio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Lucila Sodupe made a huge save. If Cipriano Abouza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ostots Hostos came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the swat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ostots Hostos couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute of the match, Maximo Mathey got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucila Sodupe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 29 minutes of play, Montemar FC's Maximo Mathey made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucila Sodupe was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Maximo Mathey came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Montemar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximo Mathey couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Lucila Sodupe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute, Christiano Bergaño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ostots Hostos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Montemar FC's Maximo Mathey got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, swat's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Abouza came free, but Lucila Sodupe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, swat's Blas Amigo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Blas Amigo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of swat protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Blas Amigo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 45 minutes into the game, one of swat:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lucila Sodupe went to the wrong direction when Piarres Gutarrate was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Abouza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucila Sodupe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Mathey, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, swat's Otsando Londoño got a free kick in the 54th minute. The audience was convinced that Maximo Mathey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucila Sodupe was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. If Ostots Hostos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 68th minute, Ostots Hostos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute Christiano Bergaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucila Sodupe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Cipriano Abouza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montemar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Abouza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Benjamin Asensio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucila Sodupe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ostots Hostos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Evangelista Barga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. swat's Ostots Hostos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucila Sodupe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christiano Bergaño in the 90th minute of play. Lucila Sodupe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Mathey in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Abouza in the 97th minute of play forced swat's goalkeeper Lucila Sodupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the swat players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montemar FC.
