After 24 played minutes COSMOS got a freekick which was hit by Benito Berlanga. Benito Berlanga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordeiro Mendieta having to interfere. In the 28th minute Pio Duque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordeiro Mendieta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Arteaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerrold Maeztu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Andrea Falcon kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Cordeiro Mendieta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Berlanga in the 36th minute of the match.
