The referee ignored COSMOS's protests and gave Andrea Falcon a yellow card for diving instead. 17 minutes into the match, COSMOS's goal looked a bit too open when Heli Laso came free, but Godofredo Arteaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Pere Caño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COSMOS's Godofredo Arteaga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bazkoare Torrecilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Vitor Loayza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crows's supporters rose to their feet, but Vitor Loayza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Arteaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in COSMOS's zone, Pere Caño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Arteaga came out of the goal and Pere Caño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Pere Caño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Godofredo Arteaga was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Iztal Alcano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Heli Laso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pere Caño made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Vitor Loayza notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of COSMOS's Godofredo Arteaga. Godofredo Arteaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pere Caño who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of Godofredo Arteaga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 61st minute Guifre Aries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Arteaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for COSMOS! The referee gave Crows a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Waldir Martel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of COSMOS's Godofredo Arteaga. 0-4. 68 minutes into the match, COSMOS's goalkeeper Godofredo Arteaga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pere Caño. After having played for 70 minutes, Quinto Baltanas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crows's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quinto Baltanas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Crows's Pere Caño was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Guifre Aries's late challenge caught a COSMOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guifre Aries helped the player get up and apologised. Guifre Aries hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind COSMOS's goalkeeper Godofredo Arteaga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pere Caño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Godofredo Arteaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pere Caño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Arteaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pere Caño in the 88th minute. With a little luck, COSMOS's Godofredo Arteaga got control of the ball when Pere Caño tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Crows's Vitor Loayza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Godofredo Arteaga. That made the score 0-6 after 93 minutes of play. Godofredo Arteaga made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Pere Caño sent off a good shot on target. Crows's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
