Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mano Iñigo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Amaranto booed when Cortadera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Arindez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mano Iñigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Cortadera's Eduino Benitua in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Amaranto's goalie prevented a goal. Adolfo Enciso charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adolfo Enciso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Cortadera got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Enciso. Danilo Casados took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduino Benitua, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iban Casados's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danilo Casados read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Regis Miguelez got free with Elija Riesgo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Eduino Benitua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduino Benitua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Danilo Casados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Iban Casados's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Casados was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. A hard shot 41 in the game by Regis Miguelez from a close distance when the talented Elija Riesgo managed to make a qualified save. Cortadera's players were relieved.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iban Casados to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Eduino Benitua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cortadera's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduino Benitua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Casados breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Amaranto's zone, Iban Casados stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Casados came out of the goal and Iban Casados tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the game, Dionisio Coteron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amaranto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortadera the free kick. Leopoldo Maluenda was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cortadera's goalkeeper Elija Riesgo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Mano Iñigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elija Riesgo. Cortadera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mano Iñigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Iban Casados received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Danilo Casados tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Adolfo Enciso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danilo Casados was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mano Iñigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elija Riesgo having to interfere. Danilo Casados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iban Casados, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Eduino Benitua had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Casados. Amaranto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduino Benitua was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Danilo Casados showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iban Casados in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Damario Carrera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amaranto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortadera the free kick. After 86 played minutes Amaranto got a freekick which was hit by Damario Carrera. Danilo Casados made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eduino Benitua sent off a good shot on target. Eduino Benitua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iban Casados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Cortadera left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Amaranto.
