Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antonio Vesga kicked off to start the match. When Antonio Vesga fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barranquito's protests and gave Antonio Vesga a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio Vesga kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. If Mano Iñigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cilio Alvadalejo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mano Iñigo in the 16th minute of play. Ourente Ceros short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Danilo Casados to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 20 minutes into the game, Froilan Baños was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barranquito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amaranto the free kick. Regis Miguelez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cilio Alvadalejo having to interfere. Damario Carrera kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Amaranto's zone, Ourente Cero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Casados came out of the goal and Ourente Cero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ourente Cero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barranquito's Ourente Cero got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Antonio Vesga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ourente Cero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mano Iñigo was the one to do the kick off. Barranquito's Cilio Alvadalejo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mano Iñigo in the 56th minute of play. When Tito Caldera fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barranquito's protests and gave Tito Caldera a yellow card for diving instead. Tito Caldera hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Vesga in the 63rd minute of play forced Amaranto's goalkeeper Danilo Casados to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Dionisio Coteron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amaranto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barranquito the free kick. The supporters of Barranquito booed when Amaranto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Coteron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Casados stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ourente Cero's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After 74 played minutes Amaranto got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Coteron. 77 minutes into the match, Amaranto's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Vesga came free, but Danilo Casados reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Amaranto defense, Antonio Vesga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Danilo Casados. The Amaranto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Danilo Casados should have stopped the shot. Balasi Colmenares hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After 86 minutes, Lucio Adrian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barranquito and the Amaranto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cilio Alvadalejo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mano Iñigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Frantxizko Verganza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Amaranto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barranquito the free kick. After 96 played minutes Amaranto got a freekick which was hit by Frantxizko Verganza. Barranquito were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Amaranto for a fine match.
