Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cordarin Moyeda to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodriguez Barriobero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordarin Moyeda in the 61st minute of play. Rodriguez Barriobero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candido Labiada went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orti Vilaro in the 80th minute of play forced Sábados Felices's goalkeeper Etor Humara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguez Barriobero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 minutes of play, DeLorean FC's Ciano Mendieta made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Etor Humara was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 95 played minutes DeLorean FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciano Mendieta. The DeLorean FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DeLorean FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
