The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bingen Mendiune kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Valcalva defense, Savion Orbea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sesuldo Aostri. The Valcalva fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sesuldo Aostri should have stopped the shot. Savion Orbea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sesuldo Aostri having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudinei Deza during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Claudinei Deza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 14 played minutes Valcalva got a freekick which was hit by Orlo Archuleta. Sesuldo Aostri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Cembrana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Cembrana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Justo Cembrana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justo Cembrana in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sesuldo Aostri saved Valcalva from getting behind. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valcalva's goalkeeper Sesuldo Aostri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gaudencio Beltranilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Sesuldo Aostri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ursino Ocouto hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Justo Cembrana came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Potreritos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Cembrana couldn't finish the play. Justo Cembrana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sesuldo Aostri having to interfere. Gaudencio Beltranilla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Valcalva's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Cembrana came free, but Sesuldo Aostri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlo Archuleta hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Justo Cembrana to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Potreritos were awarded a corner. Cristo Lijarco went to the cornerflag to take it. Bizen Ponga was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Justo Cembrana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Sesuldo Aostri skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 66th minute, Justo Cembrana made a precise shot to the right of Sesuldo Aostri. Valcalva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Justo Cembrana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Sesuldo Aostri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Potreritos's Ursino Ocouto got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Justo Cembrana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justo Cembrana took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sesuldo Aostri. Sesuldo Aostri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Cristo Lijarco charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristo Lijarco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th minute, Cristo Lijarco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Orlo Archuleta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Pedro Perdiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Potreritos's Justo Cembrana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sesuldo Aostri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Valcalva's zone, Gaudencio Beltranilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sesuldo Aostri came out of the goal and Gaudencio Beltranilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Claudinei Deza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Valcalva's Claudinei Deza got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Potreritos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
