An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Navagos in the 3rd minute of play forced Santa Fe DH's goalkeeper Kiko Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Navagos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kiko Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Navagos in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Akatowari SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Zaquiel Villaro came free, but Ramiro Ganchegui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisandro Navagos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kiko Monteiro. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Ramiro Ganchegui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Uribizalgo in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Lisandro Navagos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramiro Ganchegui showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaquiel Villaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Kiko Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baiardo Torres in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Navagos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiko Monteiro was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Efrain Uribizalgo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Goyo Cores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kiko Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Lisandro Navagos sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the match, Baiardo Torres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kiko Monteiro, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaquiel Villaro to strike the kick off in the second half. When Lisandro Navagos came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Akatowari SAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Navagos couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Elói de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Fe DH's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói de Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Ganchegui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Akatowari SAS were furious when Casimiro Charlo was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 64 minutes into the game, one of Akatowari SAS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Baiardo Torres came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Akatowari SAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baiardo Torres couldn't finish the play. Zaquiel Villaro in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramiro Ganchegui, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 78 minutes, Gregorio Arzube managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Akatowari SAS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Arzube was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
