Pedro Perdiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaquiel Villaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Efrain Uribizalgo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Santa Fe DH fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Uribizalgo couldn't finish the play. After having played for 18 minutes, Efrain Uribizalgo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Fe DH's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Uribizalgo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Zaquiel Villaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Fe DH's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaquiel Villaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Perdiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zaquiel Villaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Perdiz having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Savion Orbea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kiko Monteiro. The goal made the score 1-0. Santa Fe DH's Kiko Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Santa Fe DH from getting a goal against them. Pedro Perdiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Uribizalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santa Fe DH's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Savion Orbea scored to the left of an out of position Kiko Monteiro, making the score, 2-0. A collision led to Potreritos getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Salamon Zalvide hit a great ball. After 42 played minutes Santa Fe DH got a freekick which was hit by Ubarna Ochandiano. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Savion Orbea took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Kiko Monteiro to make any attempt to save it.

The wind increased when Savion Orbea made the kick off in the second half. Ursino Ocouto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Monteiro having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Santa Fe DH's goal looked a bit too open when Savion Orbea came free, but Kiko Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Efrain Uribizalgo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, Potreritos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Lijarco to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Efrain Uribizalgo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kiko Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Savion Orbea in the 66th minute of the match. Kiko Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justo Cembrana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Efrain Uribizalgo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zaquiel Villaros short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Pedro Perdiz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savion Orbea in the 76th minute of play forced Santa Fe DH's goalkeeper Kiko Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaquiel Villaro struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Pedro Perdiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santa Fe DH. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Fe DH's zone, Gaudencio Beltranilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Monteiro came out of the goal and Gaudencio Beltranilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Potreritos fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santa Fe DH had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
