The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sesuldo Aostri made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Mancio Acevedo sent off a good shot on target. When Sanson Armiaga fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valcalva's protests and gave Sanson Armiaga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Valcalva's Sanson Armiaga got a free kick in the 16th minute. With a little luck, Valcalva's Sesuldo Aostri got control of the ball when Mancio Acevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Benja Chumacero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valcalva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benja Chumacero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marciano Baelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benja Chumacero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido Flecha charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guido Flecha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guido Flecha hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Marciano Baelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanson Armiaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mancio Acevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Sesuldo Aostri made a huge save. Benja Chumacero struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Marciano Baelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valcalva. When Valcalva's Benja Chumacero in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye lion rolling circus f.c.'s goalie prevented a goal. Orlo Archuleta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Baelo having to make a save. Marciano Baelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlo Archuleta, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Marciano Baelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benja Chumacero went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Sanson Armiaga came free in the 45th minute and tried to tip the ball over Marciano Baelo, but to the joy of lion rolling circus f.c.'s supporters the ball went over. After 46 minutes of play, Valcalva's Benja Chumacero made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marciano Baelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mancio Acevedo was the one to do the kick off. Orlan Villagran was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Valcalva's Orlan Villagran got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 69 minutes of play, lion rolling circus f.c.'s Silvano Chavarri made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sesuldo Aostri was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santikurtz Amundarain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Marciano Baelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute Guido Flecha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sesuldo Aostri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Valcalva's Benja Chumacero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Baelo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Orlo Archuleta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valcalva's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlo Archuleta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Baelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the game, Bingen Mendiune was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valcalva's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave lion rolling circus f.c. the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Valcalva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bingen Mendiune to maneuver through the defense. Sanson Armiaga came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marciano Baelo could save by the left post. Benja Chumacero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, lion rolling circus f.c.'s Marciano Baelo got control of the ball when Benja Chumacero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marciano Baelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanson Armiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Orlo Archuleta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Baelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The Valcalva supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Valcalva would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
