Frisco Guazo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monico Tristan in the 12th minute. After 24 minutes, Helder Velez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kaittamahana FC and the Balit players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Balit booed when Kaittamahana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helder Velez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chorache Meruelo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chorache Meruelo in the 32nd minute of play forced Kaittamahana FC's goalkeeper Frisco Guazo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. During the 44th minute of the match Helder Velez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Helder Velez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Kaittamahana FC's Helder Velez got a free kick in the 44th minute. Hever Guajardo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

After 52 played minutes Balit got a freekick which was hit by Velasco Iros. In the 57th minute, Iratze Palazuelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danel Vara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Daunte Noguerol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monico Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frisco Guazo having to interfere. Danel Vara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hever Guajardo charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hever Guajardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danel Vara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Daunte Noguerol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Chorache Meruelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kaittamahana FC's zone, Monico Tristan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frisco Guazo came out of the goal and Monico Tristan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balit's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
