Mateo Copeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute Artaldo Collazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gelacio Sedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gelacio Sedillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artaldo Collazos in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Marcelo Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Fe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stones lks the free kick. The supporters of Stones lks booed when Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viator Vellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervaso Retortillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Santa Fe got a freekick which was hit by Bitxintxo Munguira. Juango Gil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gelacio Sedillo. Santa Fe's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 32 played minutes, Stones lks's Juango Gil shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gelacio Sedillo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stones lks reached it. 34 minutes into the match, Stones lks's goalkeeper Viator Vellana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fertus Jaraba. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Fe's zone, Gurutz Reiriz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gelacio Sedillo came out of the goal and Gurutz Reiriz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gelacio Sedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artaldo Collazos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ospetsu Vivar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelacio Sedillo having to interfere. Artaldo Collazos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gurutz Reiriz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Stones lks! The referee gave Santa Fe a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. Viator Vellana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fertus Jaraba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Viator Vellana having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Fertus Jaraba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Viator Vellana was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervaso Retortillo in the 68th minute of play forced Stones lks's goalkeeper Viator Vellana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
