In the 11th minute, Stones lks's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Saverio Ocaña fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Saverio Ocaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viator Vellana having to interfere. Saverio Ocaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st match minute, Stones lks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Heces to maneuver through the defense. After 24 played minutes Stones lks got a freekick which was hit by Hustaz Oñatibia. Crispo Cainzos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Saverio Ocaña notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Stones lks's Viator Vellana. Viator Vellana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Saverio Ocaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Stones lks getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Andres Heces hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Qwinton Plasencia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lesardo Zaldua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gurutz Reiriz in the 37th minute of the match. Rey Yermo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Juango Gil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lesardo Zaldua. independiente pb's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Saverio Ocaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Crispo Cainzos was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artaldo Collazos got free with Lesardo Zaldua in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 57 minutes, Saverio Ocaña managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. independiente pb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Ocaña was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Stones lks's goal looked a bit too open when Crispo Cainzos came free, but Viator Vellana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th minute, Saverio Ocaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to independiente pb getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Crispo Cainzos hit a great ball. Saverio Ocaña fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viator Vellana having to interfere. Firme Uriszar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Adalberto Aguinaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The independiente pb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Stones lks's Juango Gil got a free kick in the 90th minute. With a little luck, independiente pb's Lesardo Zaldua got control of the ball when Artaldo Collazos tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artaldo Collazos got free with Lesardo Zaldua in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lesardo Zaldua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Heces, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Stones lks's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
