Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Salvidor Navarrete took the kick off in the first half of the match. Adalberto Aguinaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Codony sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Cordeiro Argüero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the game, Crispo Cainzos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. independiente pb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Barrancabermeja the free kick. A collision led to independiente pb getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Crispo Cainzos hit a great ball. Lesardo Zaldua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Santillion, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, independiente pb's goal looked a bit too open when Teyo Melendez came free, but Lesardo Zaldua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 20th minute of the match Crispo Cainzos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Crispo Cainzos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 24th minute, Rigoberto Santillion made a precise shot to the right of Lesardo Zaldua. independiente pb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Saverio Ocaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, independiente pb's Adalberto Aguinaga got a free kick in the 39th minute. Lesardo Zaldua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvidor Navarrete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Francesco Codony came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the CA Barrancabermeja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Codony couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Saverio Ocaña made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Francesco Codony dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lesardo Zaldua, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Salvidor Navarrete took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Lesardo Zaldua to make any attempt to save it. If Firme Uriszar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Adalberto Aguinaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denis Sudupe was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Zeledon Reymondo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Federico Duyos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Barrancabermeja's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Duyos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of CA Barrancabermeja booed when independiente pb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramos Lazo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to independiente pb getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Zeledon Reymondo hit a great ball. Adalberto Aguinaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Sudupe having to interfere. When Rigoberto Santillion fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Barrancabermeja's protests and gave Rigoberto Santillion a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of independiente pb booed when CA Barrancabermeja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Santillion didn't get a good kick on the ball.
