Berenguer Ituarte got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to CF Selva Serrat getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Berenguer Ituarte hit a great ball. When Cruz Conllas came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Valledelcauca Depor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cruz Conllas couldn't finish the play. Cruz Conllas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonza Tofino ran back to his position shaking his head. Despite being the better team, CF Selva Serrat failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
