In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nacional Rey de Copas FDC's goalkeeper Gaspar Colomo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, Gervasio Urbina fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Zenaido Funes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Roque Deza made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nacional Rey de Copas FDC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nelio Pizarro was slow to take the kick. During this time Sparcks FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Nelio Pizarro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaspar Colomo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Silvio Argandoña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute.
