Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jairo Caras got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Matapalito's Cebo Millares got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th match minute, DAGDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Crescencio Barbas to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute of the match Domeka Ascarretazabal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xavies Baruz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, DAGDA FC's goalkeeper Xavies Baruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo Caras. Esteban Rejon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tulio Armendarez having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Esteban Rejon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tulio Armendarez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute Jairo Caras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xavies Baruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Todor Puerta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Rejon scored 0-3 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tulio Armendarez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in DAGDA FC's zone, Jairo Caras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xavies Baruz came out of the goal and Jairo Caras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes, Bernardo Gorbin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DAGDA FC and the Matapalito players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, DAGDA FC's Bernardo Gorbin got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Esteban Rejon made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Jairo Caras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Xavies Baruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th play minute Todor Puerta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tulio Armendarez. 1-4. Todor Puerta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tulio Armendarez having to interfere. Xavies Baruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Caras in the 68th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Jairo Caras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavies Baruz. DAGDA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Caras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Xavies Baruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Caras, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After some careless play in the DAGDA FC defense, Jairo Caras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xavies Baruz. The DAGDA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xavies Baruz should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Caras in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavies Baruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 85 minutes of play DAGDA FC's Bernardo Gorbin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 85th match minute, DAGDA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Gorbin to maneuver through the defense. Xavies Baruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Caras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jairo Caras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xavies Baruz was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Xavies Baruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jairo Caras's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Cebo Millares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matapalito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cebo Millares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DAGDA FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
