The crowd rose to their feet as Xalbador Encina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zayvius Orol. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Dagoberto Escapa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zayvius Orol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. If Xalbador Encina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Zurica received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zayvius Orol came out and tried to block the shot, but Hermengildo Zurica slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 42nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Sarricolea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of París Saint-Germain FC booed when Nottingham Forest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florencio Sarricolea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nottingham Forest's Zayvius Orol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xalbador Encina in the 60th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Hermengildo Zurica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zayvius Orol was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 77 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Escapa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zayvius Orol. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Xalbador Encina put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Zayvius Orol. Oskarbi Sanez hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. París Saint-Germain FC's Eleder Binas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Sarricolea in the 91st minute of play. Obano Lordaliego kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Hermengildo Zurica came free in the 95th minute and tried to tip the ball over Zayvius Orol, but to the joy of Nottingham Forest's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out.
