Turi Salcines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mendiko Euque read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Guaberto Queiruga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Rodas Forcen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bitxintxo Borras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cojore FC's Rodas Forcen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guaberto Queiruga in the 18th minute of play. When Bitxintxo Borras came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the STIFFEN F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bitxintxo Borras couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, STIFFEN F.C.'s Bitxintxo Borras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodas Forcen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eufemio Palenciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mendiko Euque having to interfere. Rodas Forcen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guaberto Queiruga's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 30 played minutes STIFFEN F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Deunoro Labastida. In the 33rd minute Guaberto Queiruga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodas Forcen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Guaberto Queiruga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guaberto Queiruga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leoncio Robina hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Cojore FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bitxintxo Borras came free, but Rodas Forcen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodas Forcen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Queiruga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Eufemio Palenciano made the kick off in the second half. Guaberto Queiruga struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Rodas Forcen made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Guaberto Queiruga sent off a good shot on target. If Bitxintxo Borras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Bitxintxo Borras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STIFFEN F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Bitxintxo Borras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodas Forcen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bitxintxo Borras in the 78th minute of the match. If Cristian Aceituno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Queiruga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. STIFFEN F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Guaberto Queiruga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cojore FC's goalkeeper Rodas Forcen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodas Forcen was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Guaberto Queiruga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Guaberto Queiruga really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. When the match was over STIFFEN F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cojore FC throughout the match.
