Elizardo Yurre came out of the goal and Guaberto Queiruga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of STIFFEN F.C. booed when Guatica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Rallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guaberto Queiruga to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bitxintxo Borras in the 51st minute of play forced Guatica FC's goalkeeper Elizardo Yurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, STIFFEN F.C.'s Mendiko Euque got control of the ball when Haroldo Rallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Guatica FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
