Eleder Binas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Xalbador Encina made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, París Saint-Germain FC's Dagoberto Escapa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elizardo Yurre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. París Saint-Germain FC fully deserved thier win.
