Academia los XI del barri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guatica FC the free kick. A collision led to Academia los XI del barri getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Beltran Varez hit a great ball. Cleto Ayasti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rius Andibidria, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Lorenz Valdes came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Elizardo Yurre could save by the left post. Guatica FC's Elizardo Yurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuzen Zugarrondo in the 31st minute of play. Zuzen Zugarrondo took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elizardo Yurre. Elizardo Yurre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cordearo Barquerin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elizardo Yurre. Guatica FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Batista Betancurt was the one to do the kick off. Academia los XI del barri's Cleto Ayasti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batista Betancurt in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Guatica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Inocente Galisteo came free, but Elizardo Yurre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Piearres Ramallal kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Academia los XI del barri's Zuzen Zugarrondo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elizardo Yurre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zuzen Zugarrondo in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elizardo Yurre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Archibaldo Pellicer fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guatica FC's protests and gave Archibaldo Pellicer a yellow card for diving instead. Archibaldo Pellicer hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lorenz Valdes in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elizardo Yurre saved Guatica FC from getting behind. The supporters of Academia los XI del barri booed when Guatica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Rallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rius Andibidria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cleto Ayasti having to interfere. Academia los XI del barri's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cordearo Barquerin in the 76th minute. Elizardo Yurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zuzen Zugarrondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rius Andibidria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Inocente Galisteo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elizardo Yurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Batista Betancurt might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cleto Ayasti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batista Betancurt ran back to his position shaking his head. Guatica FC's Rius Andibidria came free and shot a quick shot against goal 88 minutes in the game, fortunately Cleto Ayasti had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Guatica FC's Batista Betancurt got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
