When Shantala Galdamiz came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Independiente Medellin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shantala Galdamiz couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Quizan in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vermudo Sanabre saved kops fc from getting behind. Marin Laso's late challenge caught a Independiente Medellin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marin Laso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, kops fc's Dalmai Placencia got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Urtzi Mones struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Pepillo Prelo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for kops fc. kops fc were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Independiente Medellin for a fine match.
