Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Abalos in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xzavion Romerano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Elbanco FC booed when Guiripa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasto Añoza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasto Añoza's late challenge caught a Elbanco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erasto Añoza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Guiripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasto Añoza to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th match minute, Elbanco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Cañas to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Elbanco FC's Agustin Manrique got control of the ball when Dominic Munguira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Guiripa FC's corner Tadeo Zuñiga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Agustin Manrique quite easily take care of the ball. Agustin Manrique showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Bobadilla in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Dominic Munguira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Agustin Manrique was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 27 minutes, Kauldi Oliba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guiripa FC and the Elbanco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kauldi Oliba hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Vellito Valda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guiripa FC's Tadeo Zuñiga shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Agustin Manrique but with some difficulty. Jago Goya kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Teofilo Carreño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xzavion Romerano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Gaston Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Gaston Abalos made the kick off in the second half. Celso Bobadilla took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustin Manrique. Agustin Manrique dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 55th match minute, Guiripa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Alonso to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the game, Guiripa FC's Dominic Munguira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Manrique made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 70th match minute, Elbanco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vellito Valda to maneuver through the defense. Xzavion Romerano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Abalos in the 76th minute of the match. Xzavion Romerano made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Teofilo Carreño sent off a good shot on target. Gai Salomon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xzavion Romerano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Teofilo Carreño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Xzavion Romerano made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Gaston Abalos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xzavion Romerano was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. In the 92nd minute Teofilo Carreño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavion Romerano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elbanco FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Guiripa FC to leave the ground with a draw.
