But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blas Goxenola couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Estrella's zone, Blas Goxenola stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matro Cagigal came out of the goal and Blas Goxenola tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estrella's attentive Cerilo Travieso managed to snatch the ball when Eskuin Olaondo made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Estrella's Matro Cagigal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Goxenola in the 73rd minute of play. Estrella's Matro Cagigal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Estrella from getting a goal against them. 78 minutes into the game, Pes Acevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
