Spectators: 6828 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 0) Volandra FC's Prudentio Alvarado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Xiao Vicioso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iruinea Arnedo. Millbar F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xiao Vicioso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Volandra FC's Feliberto Ayensa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Gorbalan in the 12th minute of play. Iruinea Arnedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudentio Alvarado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iruinea Arnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pasqual Santisso in the 19th minute of play. Artal Merodo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Socorro Somavilla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iruinea Arnedo. Millbar F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Iruinea Arnedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prudentio Alvarado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xiao Vicioso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iruinea Arnedo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Feliberto Ayensa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Romarote, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Saturnino Horreo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliberto Ayensa. Feliberto Ayensa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmacio Romarote to strike the kick off in the second half. Iruinea Arnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xiao Vicioso in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, Millbar F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artal Merodo to maneuver through the defense. After 59 played minutes, Volandra FC's Socorro Somavilla shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iruinea Arnedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Volandra FC reached it. In the 60th minute, Xiao Vicioso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Volandra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of Volandra FC booed when Millbar F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artal Merodo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Prudentio Alvarado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volandra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prudentio Alvarado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Volandra FC's Feliberto Ayensa got control of the ball when Dalmacio Romarote tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 67th minute, Benjamin Gorbalan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iruinea Arnedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xiao Vicioso in the 68th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Prudentio Alvarado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iruinea Arnedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Millbar F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Prudentio Alvarado came free, but Iruinea Arnedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saturnino Horreo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Feliberto Ayensa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dalmacio Romarote in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliberto Ayensa saved Volandra FC from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Marciano Monzonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Socorro Somavilla sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Millbar F.C.'s Iruinea Arnedo didn't even have to move. 85 minutes into the game, Erasmo Laguna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millbar F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volandra FC the free kick. Iruinea Arnedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudentio Alvarado in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudentio Alvarado in the 93rd minute of play forced Millbar F.C.'s goalkeeper Iruinea Arnedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Volandra FC could leave the field as winners, despite Millbar F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
