Odon Cera started the match with the kick off. If Pes Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matro Cagigal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Bobadilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the game, Ryan Reynoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrella's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guiripa FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Estrella's Ryan Reynoso got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 21st match minute, Estrella was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mincho Ezquibela to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benigno Alonso in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matro Cagigal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matro Cagigal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Bobadilla in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Kauldi Oliba notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Estrella's Matro Cagigal. Matro Cagigal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 31 played minutes Guiripa FC got a freekick which was hit by Kauldi Oliba. Celso Bobadilla scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matro Cagigal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matro Cagigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Bobadilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Garikoitz Rejon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Xzavion Romerano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes in the game, Odon Cera fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Xzavion Romerano having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guiripa FC's Tadeo Zuñiga got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Mincho Ezquibela was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Estrella!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Bobadilla made a kick off. A collision led to Estrella getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Pes Acevedo hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Odon Cera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrella fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Matro Cagigal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Bobadilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Erasto Añoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Matro Cagigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Bernardino Betzanos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Estrella and the Guiripa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guiripa FC booed when Estrella was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Betzanos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Estrella's Pes Acevedo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Garikoitz Rejon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xzavion Romerano having to interfere. Pes Acevedo charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pes Acevedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Estrella got a freekick which was hit by Pes Acevedo. Matro Cagigal didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. After a rather tough play, Estrella's Ioritz Barrillos got a free kick in the 85th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Tadeo Zuñiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guiripa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Zuñiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xzavion Romerano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odon Cera, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When Kauldi Oliba fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guiripa FC's protests and gave Kauldi Oliba a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guiripa FC's Benigno Alonso got a free kick in the 99th minute.
