Polo Manzarias was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 41st minute Celso Bobadilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Polo Manzarias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polo Manzarias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauldi Oliba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Real Truffas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Bobadilla came free, but Polo Manzarias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With an all-out effort, Guiripa FC's Polo Manzarias threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celso Bobadilla, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominic Munguira got free with Polo Manzarias in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauldi Oliba in the 62nd minute of play forced Real Truffas F.C's goalkeeper Polo Manzarias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Truffas F.C's Polo Manzarias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Truffas F.C from getting a goal against them.
