Troncos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carimagua FC the free kick. After 9 played minutes Troncos FC got a freekick which was hit by Elorri Eguizabal. After 13 played minutes Carimagua FC got a freekick which was hit by Jeronimo Zaton. In the 17th minute, Claris Palos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Traian Avram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claris Palos in the 18th minute of play. Carimagua FC's Claris Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximiliano Ayaso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Francis Carne made a huge save. A collision led to Carimagua FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Elorri Migolla hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Troncos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claris Palos came free, but Traian Avram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Carimagua FC's zone, Silvino Ayon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francis Carne came out of the goal and Silvino Ayon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 40 minutes into the game, Ariando Fuentes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Francis Carne. Ariando Fuentes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Francis Carne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvino Ayon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Carimagua FC's Francis Carne got control of the ball when Ariando Fuentes tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
