Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5997, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 154) Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Chale Oliva successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Sansone Bazarra was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute Macario Bravo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chale Oliva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lluis Galdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Odol Calahorra came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Wimbledon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odol Calahorra couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Partarroyo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Partarroyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes Catova FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Partarroyo. In the 18th minute, Anibal Arismendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Iparragirre Estevis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dario Iturburu skillfully saved the ball. Catova FC's Chale Oliva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haritzeder Ferragudo in the 21st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wimbledon's Lluis Galdo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Chale Oliva. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. If Lluis Galdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A hard shot by Hori Senties from long distance, 26 minutes into the match, got Chale Oliva's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lluis Argomedo in the 28th minute of play forced Wimbledon's goalkeeper Dario Iturburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Telmo Lueje shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Iturburu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Partarroyo in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dario Iturburu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Macario Bravo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chale Oliva having to interfere. Santikurtz Irastorza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Lueje in the 44th minute of play forced Wimbledon's goalkeeper Dario Iturburu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Telmo Lueje managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Catova FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Telmo Lueje was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Alfredo Partarroyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Wimbledon getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Haritzeder Ferragudo hit a great ball. Macario Bravo took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chale Oliva. Chale Oliva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 3-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Lluis Galdo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, Wimbledon's Lluis Galdo made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chale Oliva was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ibon Pedronera's late challenge caught a Catova FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ibon Pedronera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Ibon Pedronera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Telmo Lueje got free with Dario Iturburu in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Wimbledon's zone, Lluis Argomedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Iturburu came out of the goal and Lluis Argomedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lluis Galdo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Chale Oliva having to make a save. Dario Iturburu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Telmo Lueje sent off a good shot on target. Wimbledon were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Catova FC for a fine match.
