Camilo Cienfuegos FC's Lauren Izaguirre quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Xilo Matamoro, made in the 26th minute of the game. When Rami Miro came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Soloazul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rami Miro couldn't finish the play. Rami Miro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gavin Baxter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Larra Vuelta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rami Miro was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Ruffat got free with Vedillo Bravain in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 57 in the game by Claudio Ruffat from a close distance when the talented Vedillo Bravain managed to make a qualified save. Soloazul FC's players were relieved. Claudio Ruffat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Vedillo Bravain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Claudio Ruffat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vedillo Bravain was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larra Vuelta in the 77th minute of play forced Soloazul FC's goalkeeper Vedillo Bravain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Ruffat succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 78th playminute. 83 minutes into the game, Ion Gheție threw the ball into play from the sideline. Soloazul FC's Mundo Marzana quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 85 played minutes Camilo Cienfuegos FC got a freekick which was hit by Nereo Frans. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Claudio Ruffat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camilo Cienfuegos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Ruffat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vedillo Bravain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Camilo Cienfuegos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Camilo Cienfuegos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
