In the 9th minute, Errando Moraina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ekialde Pidrola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinten Bernedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Trinchera were furious when Guilabertus Loredo was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Trinchera's Guilabertus Loredo got a free kick in the 13th minute. A hard shot by Elorri Govantes from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Salbatore Robres's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Quinten Bernedo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Ignazio Botbol reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Salbatore Robres. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 25th minute Goizeder Cernadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salbatore Robres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salbatore Robres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Errando Moraina in the 26th minute. Salbatore Robres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elorri Govantes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Goizeder Cernadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salbatore Robres having to interfere. In the 34th minute of the match, Errando Moraina got a very nice opportunity to score, but Salbatore Robres was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Omero Pavieta came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Trinchera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omero Pavieta couldn't finish the play.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quinten Bernedo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Trinchera's goal looked a bit too open when Elorri Govantes came free, but Salbatore Robres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oihan Acedo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xiao Muriedas in the 65th minute of play forced Trinchera's goalkeeper Salbatore Robres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Omero Pavieta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Villa FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Quinten Bernedo scored to the left of an out of position Ekialde Pidrola, making the score, 3-1. Elorri Govantes scored 4-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Salbatore Robres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Clodio Iturriz fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trinchera's protests and gave Clodio Iturriz a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Trinchera got a freekick which was hit by Clodio Iturriz. The supporters of Villa FC booed when Trinchera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quinten Bernedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Quinten Bernedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinchera's supporters rose to their feet, but Quinten Bernedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ekialde Pidrola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute, Erasmo Buisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute of the match Maria Ubidea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ekialde Pidrola skillfully saved the ball. Many of Trinchera's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Trinchera may have spent more time on the ball, but Villa FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
