C.D Escuela Mayor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eutropio Fonelleda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute Eleuterio Huercanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldomiro Armental saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Tolima Real got a freekick which was hit by Xever Olloque. Aldomiro Armental made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutropio Fonelleda in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Bartuelo Villafranca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aldomiro Armental was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Xesus Pas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dantel Quindos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute Valentino Ospina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldomiro Armental saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aldomiro Armental was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentino Ospina in the 34th minute of play forced Tolima Real's goalkeeper Aldomiro Armental to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Valentino Ospina came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the C.D Escuela Mayor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentino Ospina couldn't finish the play. If Xesus Pas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xesus Pas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dantel Quindos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Bartuelo Villafranca kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Xesus Pas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dantel Quindos. Xesus Pas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Aldomiro Armental showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentino Ospina in the 45th minute of the match. Aldomiro Armental showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartuelo Villafranca, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Tolima Real players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.D Escuela Mayor were winning 1-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eutropio Fonelleda to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C.D Escuela Mayor's zone, Xesus Pas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dantel Quindos came out of the goal and Xesus Pas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 90 minutes into the match, Tolima Real's goal looked a bit too open when Eutropio Fonelleda came free, but Aldomiro Armental reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tolima Real's Xever Olloque got a free kick in the 91st minute. Valentino Ospina scored 1-11 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aldomiro Armental, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Tolima Real fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. C.D Escuela Mayor were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
