Patxi Carmona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bai Cheng Nan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes R.B Leipzig got a freekick which was hit by Manel Corroto. Ronaldinho Merayo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Patxi Carmona made a huge save. In the 20th match minute, R.B Leipzig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Flamenco to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Brand United's goalkeeper Patxi Carmona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bai Cheng Nan. Herena Marote hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to R.B Leipzig getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Rubén-Darío Bustos hit a great ball. Herena Marote hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Brand United's Astigar Basozabal got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd minute, Osoitz Cascajares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patxi Carmona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bai Cheng Nan in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bai Cheng Nan in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patxi Carmona saved Brand United from getting behind. R.B Leipzig's Osoitz Cascajares quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Herena Marote, made in the 39th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bai Cheng Nan in the 40th minute of play forced Brand United's goalkeeper Patxi Carmona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 50th minute, Herena Marote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Merayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patxi Carmona having to interfere. Brand United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Ronaldinho Merayo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patxi Carmona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bai Cheng Nan in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Bai Cheng Nan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patxi Carmona was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 78 played minutes Brand United got a freekick which was hit by Frutos Mateu. Patxi Carmona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Merayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Patxi Carmona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bai Cheng Nan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brand United's Patxi Carmona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Queto in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Artur Queto managed to get in a good position for a shot. R.B Leipzig's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Queto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patxi Carmona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 94 minutes, Esdras Llano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brand United and the R.B Leipzig players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Brand United got a freekick which was hit by Esdras Llano. Bai Cheng Nan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the R.B Leipzig players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
