The Dragon Rojo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Nunez Lino kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Playo Garona's late challenge caught a labestia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 48th minute, Dragon Rojo's Freddy Calahorra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Elorri Chirinos. Elorri Chirinos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nunez Lino made a kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Nunez Lino sped through Dragon Rojo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haroldo Ligero. Elorri Chirinos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrico Binel went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. Playo Garona got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ximenez Landeta hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match.
