Angeles FC's Edwin Cardona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdo Froiz in the 21st minute of play. Gaur Sempere made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Luca Savu sent off a good shot on target. Valdo Froiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Edwin Cardona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaspar Taladriz got free with Gaur Sempere in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Kismi Bolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin Cardona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaliningrad's Gaur Sempere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Pagomari in the 33rd minute of play. Kismi Bolado kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gaur Sempere acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Maximo Cedron. Edwin Cardona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Froiz in the 38th minute of the match. After 39 played minutes Kaliningrad got a freekick which was hit by Kismi Bolado. Kaliningrad's Gaur Sempere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Pagomari in the 41st minute of play. Gaur Sempere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xavon Solis made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Angeles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Savu to maneuver through the defense. After 60 minutes of play, Angeles FC's Edelmiro Pagomari made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaur Sempere was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gaur Sempere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Pagomari, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Gaur Sempere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Savu in the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Maximo Cedron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaur Sempere skillfully saved the ball. Valdo Froiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin Cardona read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. If Xavon Solis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 81st minute, when Kaliningrad's Valdo Froiz after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Edwin Cardona in Angeles FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Angeles FC's Edwin Cardona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Angeles FC from getting a goal against them. Kaliningrad's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Angeles FC had won, even though Kaliningrad had held more of the ball.
