The crowd rose to their feet as Amazonas's Natanael Talaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristian Penagos. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. Fabian Asencion made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Amazonas's Sotero Closa. Natanael Talaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Penagos made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Natanael Talaga sent off a good shot on target. After 16 minutes, Ubaldo Viya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toros de Cali FC and the Amazonas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ubaldo Viya hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 2-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Raul Carulla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Natanael Talaga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cristian Penagos, 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Natanael Talaga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristian Penagos. That made the score 4-0 in the 27 minute of play. Sotero Closa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Penagos having to interfere. Raul Carulla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Natanael Talaga recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cristian Penagos. Natanael Talaga showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. From close distance Natanael Talaga pressed in the 6-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 39 minutes into the game. The supporters of Toros de Cali FC booed when Amazonas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotero Closa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natanael Talaga hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When Niceto Orallo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Amazonas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Orallo couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Raul Carulla made the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Fabian Asencion mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toros de Cali FC and the Amazonas players grew even worse after the yellow card. 56 minutes into the match, Natanael Talaga notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Toros de Cali FC's Cristian Penagos. Cristian Penagos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the game, Fabian Asencion threw the ball into play from the sideline. Amazonas's Benvide Usarralde quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cristian Penagos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Talaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Cristian Penagos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Talaga in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Niceto Orallo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Cristian Penagos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natanael Talaga in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Penagos saved Toros de Cali FC from getting behind. After having played for 83 minutes, Xavon Pinazas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amazonas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavon Pinazas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Penagos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Talaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toros de Cali FC's Cristian Penagos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael Talaga in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natanael Talaga in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Penagos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Toros de Cali FC booed when Amazonas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sotero Closa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
