Xavon Pinazas's late challenge caught a Warriors de Barranquilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavon Pinazas helped the player get up and apologised. Xavon Pinazas hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Ubarna Beytia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leon Dytrych. Amazonas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. André Maléř stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natanael Talaga's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Natanael Talaga might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Maléř. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natanael Talaga ran back to his position shaking his head. André Maléř showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael Talaga in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Natanael Talaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Maléř. Warriors de Barranquilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natanael Talaga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niceto Orallo got free with André Maléř in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute Raul Carulla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Maléř saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Warriors de Barranquilla booed when Amazonas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Carulla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

André Maléř made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 63 minutes into the match, Natanael Talaga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Maléř. But to his dismay, Natanael Talaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael Talaga in the 72nd minute of play forced Warriors de Barranquilla's goalkeeper André Maléř to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Natanael Talaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. André Maléř took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Talaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Amazonas a penalty, 75 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Natanael Talaga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Warriors de Barranquilla's André Maléř. 10-0. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Leon Dytrych successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. André Maléř came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Amazonas's Natanael Talaga. But to his dismay, Natanael Talaga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natanael Talaga in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Maléř saved Warriors de Barranquilla from getting behind. After 86 played minutes Warriors de Barranquilla got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Muriel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Carulla in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Maléř saved Warriors de Barranquilla from getting behind.
