After a rather tough play, Warriors de Barranquilla's Cezary Watarz got a free kick in the 4th minute. Warriors de Barranquilla's André Maléř played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Abendaño in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Colon in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Maléř saved Warriors de Barranquilla from getting behind. If Lauaxeta Taranco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pierre Obree kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. André Maléř showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Colon in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Fernando Abendaño managed to get in a good position for a shot. La banda pirata's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Abendaño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Maléř breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Warriors de Barranquilla's goalkeeper André Maléř, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florentino Gelmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erauso Moreyre having to interfere. André Maléř showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Colon in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Warriors de Barranquilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Obree to maneuver through the defense. André Maléř took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Colon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Bernabe Soler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Abendaño to make the kick off. When Marques Chavez came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Warriors de Barranquilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marques Chavez couldn't finish the play. Florentino Gelmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The supporters of La banda pirata booed when Warriors de Barranquilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Obree didn't get a good kick on the ball. André Maléř took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Pujol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Colon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. André Maléř tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marques Chavez struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Erauso Moreyre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warriors de Barranquilla. Crescencio Zapico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mark Colon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. André Maléř tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Marques Chavez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Marko Pujol, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 89 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The André Maléř was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
