The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rodney Espiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natanael Talaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Lebrato got free with Leon Dytrych in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Natanael Talaga in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodney Espiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 23 minutes into the match, FUTBOYSCLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Carulla came free, but Rodney Espiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sanchez Mediavilla's late challenge caught a Amazonas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sanchez Mediavilla helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FUTBOYSCLUB's Sanchez Mediavilla got a free kick in the 26th minute. Rodney Espiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavon Pinazas in the 28th minute of play. Gilen Arzola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodney Espiga. FUTBOYSCLUB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FUTBOYSCLUB's Rodney Espiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Carulla in the 34th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Amazonas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Zabarte to maneuver through the defense. Leon Dytrych made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaxan Echenique in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Raul Carulla made the kick off in the second half. Natanael Talaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Rodney Espiga made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Amazonas's Sotero Closa got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Leon Dytrych made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaxan Echenique in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Amazonas got a freekick which was hit by Gilen Arzola. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haimar Herezuelo during the 67th minute. The supporters of Amazonas booed when FUTBOYSCLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Minguet didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Raul Carulla from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Rodney Espiga's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 92nd minute, Natanael Talaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Amazonas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9.
