He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético reached it. After 24 minutes, Horacio Calva made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FUTBOYSCLUB's Rodney Espiga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. One of FUTBOYSCLUB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlético:s goal. Atlético's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
