Duarte Morenas's late challenge caught a Lomalinda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Eskarlatas FC got a freekick which was hit by Baiardo Tortoles. Gonzo Valer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaitan Caliz in the 26th minute. Ziad Rhanem hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 33 minutes, Erwin Loiret mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eskarlatas FC and the Lomalinda players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Eskarlatas FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Erwin Loiret hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Lomalinda's Chap Torre shot a high long ball. Eskarlatas FC's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. The audience was convinced that Gaitan Caliz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzo Valer was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilmar Moraes to make the kick off. If Gilmar Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 minutes of play Eskarlatas FC's Erwin Loiret was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 56th match minute, Eskarlatas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Loiret to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaitan Caliz in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzo Valer saved Eskarlatas FC from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Gaitan Caliz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Eskarlatas FC's Gonzo Valer. Gonzo Valer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 67th minute, Ziad Rhanem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artaldo Gener struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Osoro Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eskarlatas FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Herquinigo in the 71st minute of play forced Eskarlatas FC's goalkeeper Gonzo Valer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Eskarlatas FC's Jaen Onez got a free kick in the 71st minute. Gaitan Caliz scored 4-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzo Valer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gonzo Valer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaitan Caliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Herquinigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzo Valer having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Gaitan Caliz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lomalinda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 88 minutes into the match, Eduardo Neila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzo Valer. Eskarlatas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Neila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Gonzo Valer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaitan Caliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lomalinda fans cheered their team off the field, for while Eskarlatas FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
