An unexpectedly hard shot by Sancho Pillado in the 15th minute of play forced Zion's goalkeeper Niguel Varaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DILAN XUA fc's Weather Piñeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xines Holguin in the 16th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Zion's goal looked a bit too open when Sancho Pillado came free, but Niguel Varaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Sancho Pillado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Sancho Pillado in the 24th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Birjaio Argüelles hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Zion booed when DILAN XUA fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sagrario Asteguieta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 minutes of play Zion's Birjaio Argüelles was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in Zion's zone, Sagrario Asteguieta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niguel Varaona came out of the goal and Sagrario Asteguieta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Weather Piñeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xines Holguin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DILAN XUA fc's Weather Piñeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zornin Espineiro in the 36th minute of play. Iigo Diez hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Niguel Varaona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asier Neyda went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Niguel Varaona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Regis Galnares in the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Zion's goal looked a bit too open when Sancho Pillado came free, but Niguel Varaona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Sancho Pillado made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 51stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Niguel Varaona would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Niguel Varaona made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Sancho Pillado sent off a good shot on target. After 56 played minutes Zion got a freekick which was hit by Claude Fuentes. Zion's Niguel Varaona proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Zion from getting a goal against them. When Agostinho Castañiza fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DILAN XUA fc's protests and gave Agostinho Castañiza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd match minute, DILAN XUA fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Castañiza to maneuver through the defense. Zion's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gasteiz Luga in the 65th minute. Sancho Pillado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Niguel Varaona made a huge save. DILAN XUA fc's Asier Neyda got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Asier Neyda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sagrario Asteguieta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Niguel Varaona made a huge save. When the match was over DILAN XUA fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Zion throughout the match.
