Madeo Fitado charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Madeo Fitado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Furia Verde FC booed when Bogota Juniors 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madeo Fitado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Feliberto Erus made a precise shot to the right of Garikoitz Boladeras. Furia Verde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After having played for 24 minutes, Feliberto Erus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Firmin Santo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Firmin Santo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rik Binel, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Furia Verde FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Renaldo Sueiro scored to the left of an out of position Garikoitz Boladeras, making the score, 2-0. The audience was convinced that Oriol Ermua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Firmin Santo was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game.

Bogota Juniors 09's Firmin Santo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Bogota Juniors 09 from getting a goal against them. 85 minutes into the match, Bogota Juniors 09's goal looked a bit too open when Aurre Oton came free, but Firmin Santo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Aurre Oton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Firmin Santo. The goal made the score 4-2. After a defensive mix-up in Bogota Juniors 09's zone, Aurre Oton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Firmin Santo came out of the goal and Aurre Oton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Furia Verde FC's Garikoitz Boladeras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Erus in the 96th minute of play.
