The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Real Colombia™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neto Mulas to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Zion getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Louis Ebro hit a great ball. Niguel Varaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nisio Escajadillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asteri Canal's late challenge caught a Real Colombia™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asteri Canal helped the player get up and apologised. Asteri Canal kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Real Colombia™'s goal looked a bit too open when Louis Ebro came free, but Lordi Elenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asteri Canal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Lordi Elenes made a huge save. Lordi Elenes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zornin Espineiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. The supporters of Real Colombia™ booed when Zion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zornin Espineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Real Colombia™'s Jayvier Echaniz in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zion's goalie prevented a goal. Niguel Varaona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jayvier Echaniz in the 27th minute of play. In the 38th minute Jayvier Echaniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niguel Varaona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niguel Varaona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jayvier Echaniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Zion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iigo Diez to maneuver through the defense. Niguel Varaona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nisio Escajadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Louis Ebro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jorrin Osma fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Colombia™'s protests and gave Jorrin Osma a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chorche Campero during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jayvier Echaniz was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Xines Holguin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zion's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xines Holguin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xines Holguin in the 54th minute of play forced Real Colombia™'s goalkeeper Lordi Elenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Zion's Niguel Varaona got control of the ball when Jayvier Echaniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicanor Ubera was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes of play, Real Colombia™'s Jayvier Echaniz made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niguel Varaona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zornin Espineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lordi Elenes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zornin Espineiro in the 73rd minute of play forced Real Colombia™'s goalkeeper Lordi Elenes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nisio Escajadillo in the 79th minute of play forced Zion's goalkeeper Niguel Varaona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chorche Campero lost his temper 82 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee gave Zion a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gasteiz Luga, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Real Colombia™'s Lordi Elenes. 2-2. When Louis Ebro came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Zion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Louis Ebro couldn't finish the play. Lordi Elenes came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Zion's Zornin Espineiro. But to his dismay, Zornin Espineiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zion's goalkeeper Niguel Varaona, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 98 minutes into the match, Zion's goalkeeper Niguel Varaona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jayvier Echaniz. A collision led to Real Colombia™ getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Etxepare Termiñon hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zion fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Colombia™ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
