No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliveiro Barrachina to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Jerano Verdeces managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aruco's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerano Verdeces was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niguel Varaona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerano Verdeces received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Niguel Varaona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zornin Espineiro ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Aruco booed when Zion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maura Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zornin Espineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Aruco's Bernard Bolado got a free kick in the 87th minute. Oliveiro Barrachina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niguel Varaona having to interfere. Jerano Verdeces sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zion were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aruco for a fine match.
