After some careless play in the Barcelona defense, Tome Suane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leoncio Balaguer. The Barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leoncio Balaguer should have stopped the shot. Leoncio Balaguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Guifre in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Anier Guifre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leoncio Balaguer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Leoncio Balaguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Anier Guifre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jirafas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Leoncio Balaguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Guifre in the 34th minute of play. Leoncio Balaguer came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Jirafas FC's Primo Urbina. But to his dismay, Primo Urbina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After 40 minutes of play, Jirafas FC's Primo Urbina made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leoncio Balaguer was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, Jirafas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lluciano Quicedo came free, but Firme Aranguiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Anier Guifre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leoncio Balaguer. Barcelona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anier Guifre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. The Barcelona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jirafas FC were winning 0-9.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anier Guifre was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Osoro Mendez made a precise shot to the right of Leoncio Balaguer. Barcelona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. Barcelona's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tome Suane 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-11. Leoncio Balaguer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Guifre went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. Anier Guifre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Leoncio Balaguer made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Tome Suane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jirafas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-14. Leoncio Balaguer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tome Suane in the 70th minute of the match. Leoncio Balaguer was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tome Suane showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-15 in the 73 minute of play. Leoncio Balaguer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Guifre in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Barcelona's Leoncio Balaguer got control of the ball when Anier Guifre tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Primo Urbina dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leoncio Balaguer, 0-16. 87 minutes into the match, Barcelona's goalkeeper Leoncio Balaguer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primo Urbina. When the match was over Jirafas FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barcelona throughout the match.
